The Fair is a maker space, an entertainment cornucopia, and a foodie wonderland. All of our booths and stages are filled annually with an application process. We are interested in what you have to offer.
The Oregon Country Fair depends on the efforts of its many volunteers who offer their skills and services through several working crews. Each crew hires its own volunteers.
Folks interested in volunteering with the Fair are encouraged to submit an application. Current volunteers do not need to apply. The applications are collected by our Volunteer Support Team. The information collected will be sent to coordinators. The coordinators can choose to use the application information to find new crew volunteers as needed.

We have over 400 booths filled with original artisan goods and 85 booths of luscious treats. We encourage all makers to apply for an opportunity to join us in our wooded setting.

Ambiance Entertainment is looking for unique, colorful, interactive performers to wander the paths and create brief experiences of magic and wonder for fair goers. Stiltwalkers, dancers, clowns, acrobats, living art installations, improvisational actors, acoustic musicians, jugglers, magicians, and all manner of performance artists are encouraged to apply.
This groovy acoustic space is nestled up with our KOCF booth inside of Xavanadu. This is an acoustic instruments only stage that plays facing the path around the lovely meadow.
For the Monkey Palace Stage we like upbeat, engaging music that can fill the meadow, and the Odditorium is more intimate, like a theater. We like music, comedy, juggling, but mostly music—quirky, fun and with a beat.
Community Village is often called ‘the heart of the Fair.’ Come play to a joyous community at this sweet spot of the Fair.
The Dance Pavilion is a venue designed to host a variety of dance and movement styles ranging from African to Eastern European, Salsa to Contra. Promoting healthy, active lifestyles, the Dance Pavilion features programming that appeals to all ages and abilities, with some performances that dazzle the senses of viewers while others encourage audience participation and learning.
Kesey Stage is located in Energy Park, near the middle of the Fair. This stage welcomes a variety of performers including musicians, lecturers, panel discussion and more.
The WorkIt Shop area offers a fun, safe, empowering space to explore, move and create with our bodies. Highlighting the movement arts, this participatory venue utilizes various modalities including contact improv, yoga, post modern dance, hip-hop, belly dance, African dance, Latin dance, Polynesian dance, embodied consent workshops, and more. We would like to expand our offerings to include more age groups this year and offer more culturally diverse workshops.
The Caravan stage offers a mix of belly dancing and music from around the world. Please submit this application if that is your kind of performance.
Includes Blue Moon and Hoarse Chorale, acoustic and electric stages. These stages present a wide variety of musical genres, your creativity is the only limit!
Spoken Word brings us thought provoking speakers, authors, panel discussions, and spoken word artists (including poets and hip hop acts). The Fair’s Spoken Word Crew is looking to bring diverse voices and new perspectives to the four stages we program throughout Oregon Country Fair.
Jugglers, clowns, acrobats, comedy and circus troupes – this one’s for you.
For youths of all ages! If your performance celebrates life in creative, whimsical and wonderous ways, the Youth Stage is your showcase. Performers big and small: musicians, puppets, magicians, story-tellers – bring smiles and joyous energy to everyone.
Xavanadu features interactive installation art and workshops and performances that highlight our interest in sustainability, land stewardship and the Fair’s philanthropic activities year-round.
We seek art that is creative, inspiring, meaningful, fun, beautiful, interactive, celebrates nature, and creates places and spaces.
We are looking for entertaining acts, interactive exhibits, games, and art projects that celebrate OCF’s efforts to live authentically on the Earth while practicing reverence for the land.
Our all-volunteer booking and production teams are simplifying our processes as much as possible; therefore, we are not soliciting applications for Main Stage. We appreciate your interest and we thank you for your understanding.
The applications to perform on stage at the 2026 Fair will be available on November 1st, 2025. Thank you for your interest.
The poster artists for the 2026 and the 2027 Oregon Country Fair have been selected. We will post application information for a 2028 Poster Artist at a later time.
The world-famous Oregon Country Fair has been a Northwest tradition since 1969. Here is your opportunity to design the poster for our 2026 Oregon Country Fair, and be part of this amazing event. The selected artist will be awarded $4,000 for finished artwork. The Oregon Country Fair poster will be offset printed. The poster design and/or design elements will also be used on t-shirts and other OCF commemorative items. It’s helpful if you have attended the Oregon Country Fair to have a deeper understanding of our event, but not mandatory. You can see photographs and videos of past fairs at: oregoncountryfair.org. Browse our archive for examples of past posters.
Please submit 3-5 samples of your previous work or a link to your portfolio to be considered to design the 2026 poster. We will accept digital jpg, tiff or pdf format. You may submit files by e-mail, with 2026 Poster Artist clearly marked in the subject line to: advertising@oregoncountryfair.org.
Deadline for submissions is January 10, 2025. The finalists will be notified within 2 weeks of the deadline by a member of the Poster Committee to begin working on the design process. Finalists will be asked to submit rough mock-ups of potential poster designs and ideas. If we don’t pursue using these sketches, the finalist will be compensated $250 for their efforts.
All submissions will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of your submission and an email when the final decision has been made.
