Healing Hands Salve

To make my salves, I slowly cook large amounts of fresh herbs in 100% olive oil for a super-saturated healing solution which is strained and mixed with local beeswax. I use recycled glass containers when possible, plus new glass and plastic containers from a local business.

At a Breitenbush Herbal Conference in 1983, I learned the basics of salve making from Herbalist Cascade Anderson-Geller. Soon I created my own blends using plants I could grow or sustainably wildcraft in the southern Willamette Valley. These humble plants help bodies heal in amazing ways. I began selling my salve at OCF in 1985, and it has developed a devoted following. I make every batch by hand with love and healing thoughts.
