Tash’s Textiles

I was first invited to come to Fair after someone saw me performing my circle show on the street in Corvallis. I began performing on the Fair stages in 1992.

In 2001, I was juried in as a craft artist with my handmade felt work. Now I have ice dyed garments and paintings as well.  Since then, I’ve had the joy of doing both — performing as Mildred Hodiddle and making things with my hands.

Over the years, I’ve emceed the Midnight Show, been part of Girl Circus, and led the 50th Mildred March parade for the 50th, just to name a few memories. For many years, I’ve run back and forth from my booth to the stage, living both sides of the fair.

Whether I’m in front of a crowd or selling from my booth, there’s no place like home.
