The Oregon Country Fair (OCF) is a non-profit, grass-roots organization. The Fair is defined as a “psychospiritual rejuvenation”. It creates experiences that nourish the soul, liven the spirit, and is an exceptional example of community working on living sustainably and reducing our carbon footprint on the earth.

We thrive through community support and the dedication, generosity, and support of thousands of volunteers. Volunteerism is a core value of the Fair. This is reflected in the payment scale we can offer, and most of all your desire to participate as a performer for this event. We do not pay travel, housing, or other expenses for your appearance. We have found the primary motivation for appearing is the performer’s personal gratification. Most entertainers come to us because of our reputation. Vaudevillians come together here from far and wide lands to unite together. You come because you want to be here!

Stage times are scheduled at 45 minute increments, including set up and take down time. Performances therefore should be expected to be around 30 minutes. It is crucial that performers respect this time for each other.

Important! Due to the organic element of the Oregon Country Fair, it has been a long standing tradition to create pieces with live music as an integral part of the overall show; therefore preference will be given to live music. The use of pre-recorded music is prohibited at the Fair unless permission is given by the Vaudeville Coordinators.
