Oregon Country Fair
Entertainment Application Instructions
July 13, 14, 15, 2012
Main Stage
Main Stage is a scheduled stage by contract, usually featuring multi-pieced amplified acts. Performances are on a festival rotation, and are generally 50 minutes long. The OCF draws responses from all over the U.S. and as a result, has many more applicants than positions available.
The Oregon Country Fair (OCF) is a non-profit, grass-roots effort organization. We thrive through community support and the dedication of hundreds of volunteers whose commitment made it possible to purchase our land, ensuring future fairs at the traditional site. This volunteerism concept is reflected in our payment scale, and your desire to participate.
We do not pay travel and other expenses for your appearance, such as housing or specific rider items. We have found the primary motivation for appearing is the performer's personal gratification. We define it as psycho-spiritual rejuvenation. This aspect assures you an attentive, highly motivated audience and an exuberant experience as a performer! Most entertainers perform with us because of our reputation. You have to want to be here! You apply and we invite! We are not a usual stop on the circuit.
